Default P1740 code '03 2500 Ram van

Hello, my 2003 2500 Ram van tranny started slipping, and got P1740 code. Van has 193,000 miles 5,2l,46re tranny. I know that shows a problem with the TCC/OD solonoids,bt when I dropped the pan there were no parts,or excsessive metal on the magnet.Fluid is definately needing to be changed.Just curious is fluid&filter change and band adjust would be the place to start.or do I replace the solonoids while the pan is down.Thank you

Probably wouldn't hurt to change the governor pressure sensor and solenoid, aside from that, do the fluid/filter/bands, see if anything improves.

My 96 truck would pop that code every now and again as well. I would just reset it, and it would be gone for a couple months.
