I just had both U-Joints replaced by a certified mechanic and now my van sounds like a tank. I didn't think replacing those would damage anything. I replaced them because they were 25 years old and I thought they might be contributing to the high speed shaking that was occurring.

It did reduce the amount of shaking at high speed but now I'm worried about why my engine sounds different. Anyone have any thoughts?

 

Fan clutch?

Timing is probably just a coincidence.
