Default 5.2 2000 no spark

5.2 2000 will not spark from coil. I've replaced everything but now I'm being told you cant put anything but dealership parts on. I've never heard this before. I order the ecm with hopes that it is the problem. But is it true I need to order (the cap the coil the wires the plugs everything) from dodge? I've already lost out so much on this build. I've traced wires and relays cleaned corrosion. I'm about to through the van to the moon.

Nope. You can get most parts wherever you care to, however, for things like cam and crank sensors, those really need to be genuine mopar parts. You can go to any of the Mopar parts sites, find the part number for what you want, then google search that part number, and you can find them for less than what the dealer wants for 'em..... (though, they are still more expensive than the generic brands, thing is though, the mopar parts actually work properly. Same can't be said for the aftermarket fellers......)

But, before you open up with the parts shotgun.... do a bit more troubleshooting. Does the fuel pump prime at initial key on? Does the pump run again when the engine is cranking?

fuel pump primes when the key is on the pump does run when cranking. When I plug in my diagnosis machine it will not connect to the computer only thing is says is error.

Do you have noid lites? If you don't, your local parts store should have them available for rent. (even a test lite would work though....) Test and see if the injectors are getting pulsed, and same for the coil.
