1996 B2500 ignition switch wire color codes
I need to temporarily bypass the ignition switch on my 1996 B2500, due to it and the lock cylinder being badly damaged. I already have an aftermarket switch, has BAT, IGN, and SOL (solenoid) terminals. Which wires, on this plug would I need to tap into to get power to the switch? All I need is the wire for Battery power, Ignition run, and start functions. Would the SOL wire have to go direct to the solenoid? The color codes are:
#1: Red
#2: Black w/ White stripe
#3: Black w/ Orange stripe
#4: Pink w/ Black Stripe
#5: Double Pink w/Black stripe (2 wires into one terminal)
#6: Blue
#7: Yellow.
Now, I know the switch and lock cyl may be easy to replace, but I am out of work at the moment, and cannot afford a new switch/lock cylinder. The temporary switch (which I already had on hand) is the fastest solution to get it up and driveable so I can go look for work, I can put a new OE style switch, lock cyl once I have money coming in

You can find wiring diagrams here.
Now for the next question: After tapping into the wires I need, Does the damaged switch need to be in the on (run) position, in order for the temporary switch to function, or can the damaged switch be left in the off position?
