Hello All,
I have 97 Dodge B2500 beater work van. With the non locking stock carrier in the differential. I work on cell tower sites and need better traction to access some of the sites, mostly hilly rutted gravel. So I found a limited slip called Yukon Dura Grip for Chrysler 9.25". The fitment list my van and from the info I've found so far it will work. However, the picture doesn't show the ABS teeth next to the ring gear, and being after market are what they are, it most likely doesn't have them.
So the questions are:
Anyone have one of these in their truck or van and is it worth doing?
Any ideas or other manufacturers that would keep the ABS in tack?
If I did sacrifice the rear ABS for the limited slip carrier, will the front ABS still work?
Any other thoughts that I might need to consider?
Thanks for any input

Tone ring generally mounts between the carrier, and the ring gear. I would expect that you should just be able to transfer the parts from the old carrier, to the new one.
