Hey everybody, Im having a hard time locating replacement coil springs for my 1999 1500 5.9l 109"WB cargo ram van.
My question is, are the coil springs from the 1500, 2500, and 3500 interchangeable?
Im sure if i put the 3500 springs in, the ride may be a bit stiffer.
Will they fit in the lower control arm the same as the 1500 coils springs?
Ive searched through the forums and havent found any conclusive results on coil spring intercompatability between the 15-3500 vans
thanks for your help !

Interesting you have a 360 in a 109wb van. I thought all of them only had the 3,9.
I swapped my 3.9 for a 360 in my 03. Much better performance.![Smile](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Changing my springs out was an epic journey. I found people with knowledge here:

They only could source the coils. They were able to figure out that my Elk Conversion had a modified 2500 spring even though I have a 1500. I should of went a little stiffer, since the rears we had to totally guess about. That was because of another supplier had to be involved. The coil spring place only did coils, they recommended to use this place for the leaves - sdtrucksprings.com
Talking to them, they couldnt exactly figure out what rears I had. I went through counting the number of leaves and other things, and we both took a guess and settled on version of the 2500 rears. I think I went one leaf too big, since it is pretty stiff back there now. It is a little over stiff and makes the front float a little over humps. Nothing bad, but different. I have noticed that I carry weight much more sturdy now.
I am happy with the swap. Overall it cost me about 2k. The rear leaves were expensive - 750 3 years ago. The fronts were 500 and it paid about 500 to have them put on the van.
As I remember, the spring were interchangeable but shackles in the rear could be different.
