Hello,
I have a 1997 van B3500 v8 engine, my Gen light suddenly went on my dashboard and battery gauge went down.
I replaced my alternator with a new one I still have the same problem I checked my fuse box and fuses are ok.
Please help thanks

 

Voltage regulator. Unfortunately, it's in the PCM. You can do the old style external regulator to solve that.

Thanks for your reply its good to know where the regulator is I was wondering about that.
Anyway, I think I found the problem and it's the battery isolator I pulled out and checked with my Fluke and found that engine side
diode connector is bad so I ordered one from Ebay.
