Hi,

I have a 97 3500 Maxiwagon 5.9L 15-passenger van.

I need to replace the door check & housing on my single cargo door. Any suggestions where I can find replacement parts? I've tried junkyard, Ebay, Rock Auto, Mopar, etc. to no avail.

Second, I think my high top roof was installed after the van was purchased. It has a weird piece of cardboard between 2 sheets of fiberglass. How can I figure out if it was installed after the fact? Any telltale signs?

I could be wrong, but I believe all those were some type of conversion done by a second party. What is a door check and housing?
