Default Performance Headers ?

Has anyone found a set of long tubes that would fit the 5.2 5.9 magnum engine in the Ram Vans. Mine is a 2003

I’ll take the lack of response as a big fat no to available headers. Man do I miss the 70’s when vans were more popular and anything could be purchased for any van.

The trouble is the cat and where it is placed. It would have to be moved rearward by quite a bit and then the o2 sensors wires would be too short and then there's the issue of the crossover from the passenger side to get to the cat. Anything is possible with time and money, you just have to decide if it's worth it. Hedman is the only source for headers for the vans and I think 92 or 93 is the last year they have listed.

seems like a standard install then. If a set was to show up that fit the rest is just foreplay.

Give Hedman a call. I would say they would fit up to a 97, but yours has had the engine moved forward so all bets are off.

It's too bad you had to wait 3-weeks just to be told, "we can't help you." That doesn't say much for the customer service or sale departments over at HEDMAN.

Something that might be worth looking into would be shorty headers. If you are planning on keeping the cat then that would alleviate the plumbing issues. The one issue I see is the solenoid on the starter sticks way to the outside rather than tucked to the inside. A shorty header or any header may pose a clearance issue with that. Need to crawl under mine and take a better look. There's some cheap stainless shorty headers out there, but you know where they're made.
