Default 2000 ram van ground issues

hello all . i have a2000 dodge ram 3500 van with ground issues when i put the negative terminal on i lose ground to alternator and distribution center which is causing a no bus code i could use help .and i need a pin out chart for pcm black plug .

Are you talking putting the negative terminal on the battery?

yes i put the negitive terminal on thebattery and lose ground to the altanator and [pwer distrution box

How are you determining you have a ground before hooking up the battery? You say you lose it when you hook up the battery. To lose it means it was there before. This is confusing.

fwiw - the negative battery cable comes off the battery, goes down the drivers side of the engine and turns into mesh....this mesh rusts and get really dirty...this is the place, IMO most ground issues come from...I have an 03 van - i think 98-03 should be the same
