I cycled the key on/off 5 times then attempted starting. It then fired right up. Sounds like pressure regulator getting weak.

Well, here's an update: I was looking at the gas gauge, and it was reading 1/8 tank, after the road testing and idling I was doing. So I went and put 10 gallons of fresh dino juice, it brought the gauge to just over 1/2 tank. Then I made a start attempt, this time it fired right off. So, apparently, it being at 1/8 tank, and parked on a slight incline the fuel level was apparently low enough that it was having a hard time priming when I turned on the key

On a side note, is E-15 (88 octane) safe to use in my 1998 5.2?

Probably not. The engine is rated to burn gas with up to 10% ethanol. It *might* work, but, expect power and fuel mileage to suffer.
