RAM or B series
What do I have ?... this is the following specs:
Year made: 1996
Vin#: 2B6KB31Z9TK166879
The Vin# lists it as a 1996 RAM Van, Trim 3500, with a 5.9L engine...the problem I have, is finding parts that fit this van, so'far I have found most B3500 parts fit...ie. round air filter vs the square filter for the RAM3500, Lug Nuts 5/8-18 vs pick a size that don't fit...I am now looking for steering/stabilizer parts to fix steering issues mentioned in another post...it appears following inspection of the front end, 1996 B3500 Van parts is what I need ?...I have read the plant in Canada during the 1995-1996 time period had issues with production caused by closures and plant movement...I am looking for any information that may help in the search for needed parts...This van is a Class-B RV...it's in excellent condition, my goal is to keep it in that condition...Thanks for this excellent forum...Cheers/John

Good luck with any internet search. Everything that comes up is for the pickups no matter what you search for. You can search for Dodge B3500 van and you will get tons of stuff for the pickups. Very frustrating
The rear door has the RAM 3500 chrome logo...Yep ! finding the correct parts for the "van" has been a chore...didn't know I needed the round air filter until I removed the dog-house...O'Reilly's were puzzled when I traded the square filter for the round filter...
