Getting ready to replace my TXV, but I'm seeing different options for the H-block up front. I am seeing average capacity cooling and high capacity cooling. How do I know which one to get? I have a 97 dodge b3500 passenger wagon. 5.9. I gave the dealer my VIN# AND was informed that my fan clutch has max cooling option. Does this reflect on the txv as well? Where I would buy a high capacity cooling txv? Maybe I'm interpreting this wrong. But what are your ideas? How do I figure out which one to get??

 

The dealer should be able to tell you the correct valve.... why they are talking about the fan clutch, when you are asking about a/c components, is a mystery to me.

 

I didnt know there was two different ones....hmmm....
