Does anyone know how to shorten their TV line? My tranny is typically on a jeep for some reason and the TV line is SUPER loose which I think is causing my 1-2 shifting to be really sketchy. I can move the line about 3/4 with barely any pressure on the line before it creates any tension.

The line in the photo is it detached and in the transmission manual (show in my throttle cable adjustment diagram) I do not have a release adjustment. It's just a cable attached to the cable connector with a conduit. I imagine ill have to cut the cable and reattach it to the cable connector?

 

The adjusting is done under the hood, up at the throttle body...... If you don't have one, then you have the wrong cable.
