I suppose these are NLA, but I wonder if anyone has used anything else successfully.
I found this repro gasket for earlier years, but nothing for my 1998 which uses a different seal which has a lip.

Anyone have any ideas? A rat chewed part of mine right by my ankle, causing heat from the engine to blast my ankle while driving.

 

Well, I can find a part number for the seal, but, the seal itself? Nope. Discontinued, no one seems to have it. I think your best bet is going to be getting a look at the cross section of the seal, and then see if you can match something up with it, and buy the length you need....

And now I also know to not leave the doghouse off overnight, especially when I keep a bag of peanuts (for the squirrels) in the glove box. After I saw the rat scurry from under the dash and out the engine compartment, I set the doghouse over the engine, but didn't clamp it down, so it seems that the rat came back and then proceeded to chew at the seal.

 

You might be able to make a seal for a camper shell work. They come in varying thicknesses so you might be able to make a patch for the damaged area.
