Unlike trim and style, horns don't sell cars. Look for a similar year pickup truck. They often used the same hardware. It might look a little different, but will work. For instance, GM cars and trucks with crank windows all used the same design mount for window crank handles. Even earlier Cadillac's (early 1960's and earlier) used the same handles.
my 84 B250 horn wasn't working when I purchased it three years ago.
My mechanic said re doing the wiring was a nightmare and was not worth the effort. So, I found the only easy inexpensive way was to
take it to an vehicle electrical specialist and had him install a spring loaded push button switch in the metal dash.
Easy to get at and works just fine. I rarely use the horn anyway.
