Did my front wheel bearings today
any questions???
pretty straightforward...only real thing is you need a real chisel or appropriate apparatus to get the races out...a screwdriver isnt gonna to cut it...well, if you want to hammer it for all afternoon LOL
Why did I wait so long?..LOL One was really bad...griding at over 60mph...glad it is done

Now just remember to grease them on a regular basis
I suppose it matters how much you drive the vehicle as to how often it should be done. Always seems about one a year or so I will have the front wheels off the ground for some reason. And will grease them while there.

On actual bearing/race rotors, when I change 'em, I am VERY generous with packing the bearings, and the rotors themselves when putting it back together.
Generally don't need to touch 'em again until the next time its due for brakes. Then just clean and repack.

I'm sure thats fine, just so long as they do not get forgotten. My Caravan is FWD, the rear wheel bearings were really noisy on it. I inspected them and greased them and made a world of difference.
That was 6 years ago and think I want to go back and check them out.
My daily driver truck has had bad luck with front wheel bearings. When I first bought the truck 9 years ago I went through everything on it. Belt, hoses, T-stat, water pump, all the fluids, complete tuneup.
I bought a good running used truck and I went through complete maintenance as a starting point ..... I swore I greased the front wheel bearings.
About 4 years ago I had the driver side bearing go out. I looked at it and knew by the color of the grease, I never touched them .... I have purple grease, they had brown grease.
So I fixed it and greased the passenger side.
About a year later I was looking at the brakes and decided to check them and add some grease .... Later I found a dust cover in my driveway .... well son of a gun, wonder how that got there?
6 months later the passenger wheel bearing went out and whadda ya know .... had no dust cover on it.
Just saying .... Check those wheel bearings ... and put the dust covers back on.
