Default 2001 Ram Van transmission shifting weird

Hey everyone- I recently got a Ram 3500 van (Roadtrek conversion van) that's in really nice shape. It has 131,000 miles and the 5.2 engine and 47RE transmission. When I got it it was taking off in second gear and throwing a shift solenoid related code. I dropped the transmission pan and replaced the shift solenoid, filter, and pressure sensor. It now takes off in first gear, but at about 15 mph, it shifts back and forth repeatedly between 1st and 2nd gear until it reaches enough speed to shift to 3rd. After 3rd it's fine. It does this every time I accelerate. Any ideas on what could be going on? Could it be because I used aftermarket parts? I hate to open it again, as the gasket will get wrecked and the fluid isn't cheap. Thanks for any ideas!

Should be a 46RE. Replace the governor pressure solenoid as well. The two solenoids at the back are just for TCC, and O/D.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I did replace the governor pressure solenoid. Inside the pan.

Did you do both the solenoid, and pressure sensor?? Did you reset the PCM after??

Both. I didn't reset anything. I'll try that now. Thanks!

Reset PCM and no difference. I have a feeling a genuine Mopar shift solenoid is in my future. Ugh.

Yeah, Dodge is pretty famous for not getting along well with aftermarket sensors.... I put the Heavy Duty solenoid in my truck when my trans was misbehaving... I think that was a bosch.... I did the sensor, solenoid, and output speed sensor, just to be sure. Solved 99% of my problems.
