HI all..

I need to replace the passenger motor mount. I went out there - found I think it is a 19mm...but how do you gert those two nuts off? Do you need a 'sideways' wrench?

Also is it 19? or something else like 3/4...thanks

Joe

edit: and it looks like 1998-03 is different than all the rest...

I am not familiar with those style..... I expected the clamshell fellers, with a long bolt going thru them....

I took off the bottom nut from below with an extension and a socket. As I recall it wouldn't go on perfectly straight, but it did go on enough. For the top nut, penetrating oil is your friend. I used a wrench to crack it loose, then I used a ratcheting wrench to get it off the rest of the way. It can be easier to remove the 3 bolts holding the motor mount bracket to the block and then remove the bracket and MM as an assembly. When assembling, pay attention to the dimple on the MM, it needs to go into the hole on the motor mount bracket. If you opt to remove the 3 bolts, remember to support the engine first or it could drop down slightly and catch your hand. As you loosen the MM nuts, you can start to raise the engine so that the stud begins to pull out and give you more room inside the bracket to work the nut off. It is doable, it just takes a bit of time and patience.
