I have a 94 dodge Jayce conversion van, that is having problems starting all of the sudden. has run great the last 2 years I’ve owned it but recently takes several times to start and pressing heavily on the gas pedal. Once started runs like a top with zero problems. I’ve seen ignition coil and fuel filter as a likely cause of this issue. Anyone have any experience with this, main experience has been Chevy and fords this is the first dodge I’ve owned. Thank you for any help/suggestions provided. 5.2l v8

 

I would check fuel pressure and see what you have.

 

How many miles since the cap, rotor, and spark plugs were replaced?

Not sure about the year of van but sounds like TPS/IAC. Had similar problem, worked fine once its warmed up a bit.
You can easily remove and clean them.
