As your van doesn't have anything in the way of factory security..... Bad PCM is the only thing I can think of...... Is there a local yard you can get one from, and see if that one will actually run the engine?

LOL maybe --- I look every time I go...out of 50 times I found ONE - and my b---of an ex sold it on me GRRRRRRRRR

Thats kind of where I am at. We do have yards locally buy I may just purchase one on the web. Any distributors that are known good resellers?

I think
The issue here is it never sends the signal...... not even on first start up. What would control the ground side in the first 3-5 seconds? I assume it would still need to be the injector drivers in the ECM.

Injectors are purely controlled by the PCM. The relay will trip for three seconds at first key on, then disengage, until the PCM sees the engine turning..... (crank sensor)

This one is really confusing, as the PCM obviously CAN control the injectors, your test proved that... hopefully...... Now, why it doesn't want to??? That is the real question. If it sees cam and crank sensor signals, it *should* run..... but, it doesn't....... If it is NOT the PCM, I have no clue what would **** it off to the point that it won't......

My only other thought is that the cam or crank sensor works enough to show counts on the scan tool but has an erratic wave pattern/ partially shorted wire throwing the ECU in and out of sync faster than the tool can detect and not firing the injectors.

I’ll try back probing them on the scope to make sure they look right and grab an ecu if they check out ok.

I’ll update this thread when I find a solution or find something else interesting.
