B2500 fuel pump issues
Hey everyone,
about a year ago I replaced my original fuel pump with a Delphi from Rock Auto. It recently went out and left me stranded. I got the new warranty pump and installed it and now it’s making a loud buzzing noise like it gonna burn out again. My tank is spotless on the inside and I changed my relay and fuse and it’s still buzzing. I also never run my tank low on fuel. What’s going on? There’s know way I got two bad pumps in a row. There has to be something killing them. The new pump probably has 10 miles on it. My van is a 1996 Dodge b2500 5.2L

Last year I bought a Delphi pump from RA and it was defective. They sent a replacement and that one has been working ever since. So, it would seem that Delphi pumps do have an unacceptable failure rate.
