97 Ram Van a/c leaking water on carpet
Hi Bodeen,
Are you sure it's condensation?
Is it the front or the rear system? (I'm guessing front)
The front system on my 99 B1500 is all mounted outside in the engine bay. If you slide under the car on the front passenger side you can see the drain at the bottom of the unit.

I'm reasonably sure it's condensation. It doesn't smell like coolant. It is on the floor right above the catalytic converter. I DID find the drain. Thanks, but I still don't see any water coming out of box. The floor's dry now though. For now. I'm sure this problem will rear it's ugly head again. Thanks again.
Did you take the interior trim off of the rear AC unit. I did mine last year and it looked ugly from all of the junk on the Evap core. See if the drain isn't clogged either.
Currently, I have a rear AC leak on that rear unit on the low pressure line at the fitting under the frame. I just need time to see if the o-ring failed there. It could only be a $2 part.

Thanks so much. I hadn't even thought about the rear needing to drain also. Lo and behold, I checked and it's wet in the rear too!!
Both are fixed now. Thanks again. Now on to next problem!
