Can anybody help me? My engine light came on in a Ram 1500 van. I took it to the garage for diagnosis, they told me the code was 253, but could not tell me what that was, they did not have a new enough book. I was charged anyway. I am hoping somebody can tell me what the code means before I spend more money at another (reputable) garage. Thanks.
