Pull your sensor from the engine and check the wiring and connection. I had a camshaft position sensor with a slightly corroded wire that acted like yours is. Check for nicks in the wiring. If you don't see anything check the wiring harness plug for bent, broken, or corroded plugs also.Whether you find an issue or not, use di-electric tune-up grease on the connection when you plug the harness and sensor back together.

Hope it helps.

I have replace the sensor twice and still the samething, the dealer replace it once. AndI replace it once. I have check the wiring harness and nothing seems to been crack orcorroded. Do you think it could be deeper into the sysetem? The dealership down here so not very much help at all. That is why I'm doing this on own.

Thank You

ok this would be your easy route replace the CAM sensor not crank if u dont have a volt meter then u cant do this next deal if so let me know and I will give u a small test to do. The resion i say replace the cam sensor is because they work hand in hand the cam turns faster then the crank and with a 4.7 u have an NGC3 computer so u will start the car off cam and run on crank and cam will check itself to see if it is still spinning. Replace the cam sensor and check back.

dodge681,
do you stand on the pedal from a complete stop often... like i would say often as in like 3 times every time you drive it?! because my understanding through a dealership is that the only way that sensor goes out is if you drive yuor truck to hard.
