Default Need help, how do I found out what gearing my truck is?

I pulled off the tag on my rear end, "1496" Im not shure what those numbers mean. The truck is on my sig im trying to figure out what gearing it is. Is there another way to tell? I also tried to check it with chalk on the driveshaft and tire. The driveshaft turns 4 times and the tire turned 1 1/4. Any help would be apreciated.

if your turn counts are EXACT, then its 4 divided by 1.25 = 3.2
which i think is a 3.21 or 3.25 which is normal for a straight shift.

or just open your glovebox and read the sticker that'll tell you. I just went and looked at mine.....Corporate 9" rear, 3.55 ratio and Anti-Spin.

You have 3.23's. They're OK for the stock 235/75 r15's but if you are going to put on 35's then you may want the 4.88's
I checked out your car domain pics. Good deal. nice work on the front end!
