I called my local Meinke and they wanted $450 for the flowmaster with the dual outs.

 

it sounds like im probably just gonna get a cherry bomb, those others are sounding a lil out of my price range, unless i go in and they give me some amazing price, i havent had any chance to talk to them yet.

 

I started off with a 18" glasspack replacing the muffler(cost $50 at local muffler shop). It was L O U D. Plus under acceleration the in cabin drone was obnixous. So bad the "better half" hated riding in it. I loved it but on a trip to Panama City, FL from Omaha, NE even I started to get annoyed. Now that I remember right, there was a sale at meineke for the $300 price. The local muffler shop said they could do it for $350. I didnt want to ride back again with the glasspack, so I went with the sale. The local muffler shop also said that for $20 they could just stright pipe it. If i had to do it again and wanted the glass pack, I would go online look for the cheapest price, and then see what it would cost to have a muffler shop install it. You might save a few bucks that route.

 

well the only thing is my dad said it has to be professionally installed, and i havent found out if my local dealer will install it if it wasnt bought there. i mean im sure he would for a price but i have to make sure that it wouldnt be cheaper to go ahead and buy it there, that way he would install it for cheaper. when u talked about "under acceleration cabin drone" did u just mean while u were accelerating or what?
