Default Mufflers

Im gonna take off my muffler and put on a different muffler or glasspack. Does anyone no which of these would sound the best out of cherrybomb, dynomax, or magnaflow. i know cherrybomb is the cheapest, and ive heard they sound pretty good. i want it to be loud and good quality sound, but i dont want to get pulled over for it. and if one of these other two are better, is the difference worth the cost?
thanks for your input, Adam

I love my flowmaster 40 series, it makes a nice rumble sound, in terms of getting stopped, some cop warned me for my exhaust when I got a warning for speeding, but I don't care, other people have louder stuff then me and besides its 50 states street legal.

here is the soundbyte to my EX ram 1500 4.7 with a flowmaster 70 single in dual out. I had glasspack on it, it was loud and lost mid range. The flowmaster sounded good, loud when stepped on and power came back. http://www.geocities.com/dheath_1999/ram.mp3

I have the Dynomax. There are some sound clips of my exhaust in the sights and sounds forum under the topic "Dynomax exhaust sound clips".

although i personally don't like "loud" trucks, i wanted some killer sound from my hemi ram. i put on a V force muffler. it's louder, but not enough to bother the neighbors. (you can take off the resinator for more volume. )

the sound is awesome. Just what i wanted. Although you can't really hear it at idle, as soon as you touch the gas, it just sings... it produces a great low, and throaty sound, that sounds more agressive the harder you step on it. and i really like the fact that once you reach your cruising speed, you don't really notice it. so it doesn't drown out the radio... although sometimes i don't even listen to the radio because the truck sounds so good. And although it's hard to tell, the truck seems to have a bit more low end torque, and a bit better gas mileage.

And it only cost me $180 bucks canadian (installed)... that's about $130 US plus the $60 bucks i spent on a nice stainless tip. It was money well spent

I still have to go up the exhaust place in town, i havent had a chance because they close at 2 and are only open mon. through fri. so im at school. Im off monday im gonna try to go up there then, and ill ask him for some estimates on these different mufflers. Ill post more replys after i talk to him. thanks, adam

I just had a Mangaflow put on yesterday. I went in for a Flowmaster and they let me listen to the Flowmaster, Magnaflw and the V Max. The V Max was the louldest out of all 3. I chose the Magnaflow, definately the quietest of the 3 but still sounds mean. Good luck.
