Greetings everyone. I've just recently purchased a used 1996 Ram 1500 Quad Cab and need to fix the driver seat. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase a used seat or even the OEM seat cover to recover the seat?

let me guess....is there a rip in the seam along the top edge that runs by the door (with the plastic tube)?? I dont think I have seen a 97 or older Ram with out this problem LOL

Your two best bets are to hit local junk yards...or start looking aftermarket. You can get a much nicer aftermarket set for a little more, if not the same price as a new OEM set.

I bought really nice Dodge seat covers from the dealership... I like them better than my regular seats anyway... LOL! Cost me about $20.00 for black ones with a felt Ram Head on the headrest...

BTW, they are water resistant too!! Water just beads up and wipes off!

if you will glue some automotive carpet padding along the top side edge and wrap it around a little on the seat frame this wont happen again
