Default RE: raceing???

I use 4x4 for taking off when I have the chance. Reason being is if you start hoping you're still lossing speed. as for the taking off, if your in a diesel and it's an auto which it seems to be. I'd keep the rpms around 1800-2000. Turbo is coming into peak power range right there. Shouldn't be so much that your starting to over do the torque converter (correct me if i"m wrong all this depends on how modded the truck is right?) and you shouldn't be over doing your brakes at this point either. Also drew. quick question on the tow haul mode. Not too familier with dodge auto tranny's but I know chevy with tow haul mode engaged yeah you had more grip but the shift points were all f'd up for speed and acceleration. Is this same with dodge? I know when I raced a couple chevy's i was test driving (gotta put em too the limit to see if you really like it or not) when tow haul mode was on they were alot slower on take off because they didn't go through the gears, wasn't as much power there it seemed. Maybe it's just cause it was a chevy. Who knows. Also when you take off drew. Do you side foot it for the brake and fuel, Not sure how else you'd do it. I do. Gets complicated sometimes for me if i'm not used to the current boots i'm wearing. (such as these boots i have for work big ol soles steel toe beasts!)
