Default Help!!! Blown fuze ?

Hey all, this is my first post and I'm sorry that it's a plea for help. I'm just about finished with my two weeks of vacation from the desert (currently deployed to Qatar) and I have an issue with my 01 Dodge Ram truck. Here's the issue:

I have no running lights and the dash/guage lights don't work. I have brake lights and blinkers but no lights inside the guages. Any ideas? I've checked all the fuzes on the left side of the drivers side and nothing is blown. I had this issue about 4 years ago and I remember just replacing a blown fuze.

Any help would be appreciated. I know that search is my friend but I'm ***** to the wall getting ready to head back to Qatar. Thanks guys!

hope its the fuse. that switch is like $75 and you have to have a security type driver to remove the screws holding it on. forgot how much and what size that was. if you find you need that info, post up and ill try to get it for ya.

Could also be the muti-function switch in the column.
My lights and wipers went wonky a few months ago, turned out to be the switch in the steering column.
$240 parts and labor at the dealer.[:@]

thats the switch i was talking about. you can do it yourself for $75 (switch) and the bit needed to remove the screws (think like 5 bucks but not sure, it was cheap)

I'm hoping it's just the outside fuze. I'm back in Qatar already so this will have to wait until I get back. I have a feeling it's a fuze though. Same thing happened a couple years ago. The weird thing is that my trailer hitch harness was melting when the fuze went. I'm actually not sure if the harness caused the fuze to blow or vice versa. Guess I'll find out in 9 months! Thanks again for the info.
