Hi, i am used the the 3 cycle of the keys to get my computer codes, has this changed? it wont work in my 99 ram, any feedback is appreciated

They changed it not too long ago. Perhaps they changed it in 98. I know my 01 Dakota and Neon didn't give you the codes.

found it out, cyl 6 misfire now just making sure what cylinder is #6 is it the 3rd on the passanger side of the motor?
