I would like to installthe Thunder roads ground effects to my SLT. Dodge sells the pkg for both SLT and SPORT. The SLT kit is less expensive because it does not include the front air dam (not compatible because of the missing bracket underneath)And that kit would probrably not look right....I have taken pics of the thunderroad frt damthe sport,and my SLT. All three are identiclefront bumper covers. the only thing missing is the <U>bracket</U> underneath (no pic). That bracket appears to be compatible with my SLT (all holes appear to line up) I have made several calls and spent many,many hours online trying to determine the problem. I have been in parking lots comparing the trucks to no avail! My local Dodge tells me that it has been tried before by a customer and it will not work. but they can not tell me <U>why it</U> doesnt work. OK, every Ram is either a ST, SLT, or Laramie. You can add the Sport appearance package to an SLT or a Laramie. In 2002 they put a sport decal on the C Pillar. In 2003 and 2004 they did away with that decal location and now put them on the lower right corner of the tail gait. They also did away with the sport decal and only use a SLT or Laramie decal now. If your truck has chrome front and rear bumpers it does not have the Sport appearance package, but if it has body color front and rear bumpers then you have the Sport appearance package and you CAN put the front air dam on. If you are not sure you can give me the last 8 digits of your VIN and current mileage and I can pull up your option list on Chryslers website and tell you. well im new to dodge no denying that! 6 months ago!!!! what has me so dumbfounded is the number of dealerships i called that could not help me!!!! ITS BAFFLING! Anyways thanks yourassistance because it was very helpfull.....and I sure hope someone else can benefit as well!!!!Ordered the thunder road ground effects today!! will be here in 2-3 days ..stereo gets installed tuesday!! only thing left is the flowmasters or what ever is best for HP and sound...ill check around on the forum..........and thanks again...........

I attempted to install the running boards today!!! And had to stop!! and take a deep breath!! They didnt make these to just bolt on and drive!! so ill get another shot tommorrow!! after looking at my schedule looks like a weekend project !!!</P>


However the jams are complete!! I did finish that !!!!! </P>
