Does anyone have an opinion on using brand vs non brand gas in a new hemi ? I have been using the mid grade gas and going to brand gas stations like, Chevron,Shell, BP and etc. I have been trying to stay away from Race trac and etc. Does it matter which ? It's brand new and just trying to take careof it.

 

As long as the gas has additives you should be fine. Most gas without additives will make your vehicle startspark knocking over a period of time.If you wanted to fill up with high octane every other tank that sould be fine also.</P><edited><editID>TwiztidRyda</editID><editDate>37998.3784375</editDate></edited>

 

Thanks! I have been running 89 oct like the manual says. It says you can run 87 as alast resort.I guess I will look at the pump to see if has additives.
