I just got an 06 Ram 1500 quad-cab 4x4 and it has the stock 17 inch wheels. I want to upgrade to a set of the factory chrome 20's. Are those meant to be used on the 4x4 trucks? If so, is there any adjustments that need to be made such as suspension or speedometer (assuming outside diameter of the tire on the 20's is larger).

The 20's will fit. They come with certain packages. The only thing that might change yr speedometer is if u go with larger diameter tires.

 

Thanks for the reply. Is the outside diameter the same on the stock tires that come on the factory 17's and 20's? If so, then I am set as I don't plan on getting larger tires than the stock ones.

 

You'd have to do a pretty drastic size change to see much of a difference. I believe the stock 20's come with 33's.
