Default Wont shift into overdrive

I have a 99 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4.
This morning it wouldn't shift into overdrive, I live in Maine and it was 20 below this morning. I have a 24 mile comute and it never shifted in. Didn't know if the cold had something to do with it??

Thanks,
Dave-99

Are you having any other problems?? One thing to check is to see if you have cruse control. If you do then it could have just been the weather. But with a 20+ mile drive, if it was the weather your OD should have kicked in towards the end of the drive.</P>

I do have cruise, so lets hope that it is just the cold weather.
Thanks for the reply.

I use to drive a Toyota Camry before I bought my Hemi....When it was below 35 degreesthe Camrywould take awhile to shift to overdrive....Usually about 10 min......Seemed like the car had to warm up or something.
