Well,chalk up one for the good guys.I took my 98.5 CTD 24 valve to Cummins Western Canada for an oil and filter change,fuel filter and valve reset.Also asked them to read the fuel pressure out of curiosity.Guess what....LOW LIFT PUMP READING.I dodged the VP44!!!!!.$250.00 later problem solved and they installed the new warning light upgrade.Guys,either check fuel pressure,put gauges in or kiss your VP44 goodbye cus I am living proof that your lift pump will screw you if you don't watch it.BTWall seemed well as I just got back from a 800km business trip with a 1200lb load and it seemed fine.UHH....NO!
