I have a 94 ram 4x4 shortbed with the 5.2l 5 spd. When traveling at any speed but usually in the lower RPM range it starts stuttering and vibrating like it is out of gas. This usually happens when It reaches around 2000 rpm's. If you give it gas it goes away. This is extremely annoying!! I have noticed that if it has a full tank of gas it won't act up as bad. Fuel pump? Filter? Where is the filter located anyway?New plugs and wires didn't fix and advance auto said they couldnt get a fuel filter. Anyway thanks for the help in advance

 

This is a longshot, but since it is a 5 speed, did you check your motor mounts?? Just my 2 cents.

 

Checked them they seem fine any other ideas??

 

chad, your filter s in the tank at the bottom of your fuel pump in the gas tank. change it all out if your going that far, imo. good luck duane
