Default Are you happy with your Hemi?

I have been a Ford man all my life. I decided to give the Hemi a try and I'm gladI did. It feels like a man and very solid. The front nose on the Dodge looks very awesome. This one guy had a nice looking two tone 04 F150 and when he saw my truck he almost broke his neck looking at me. I said, I know it looks good son. Just don't try to outrun me.I put thenewFlowmaster50 series duals on it designed for Hemi and it sounds raw.

Do yourself a favor and test drive the competitors before you buy the Hemi. Might find something else with as much power but better gas mileage.

I test drove the competition, the fact that I ended up with the Hemi says what I thought of the competion. Ford not an option, there is a reason why they offer the new generation, and the "Heritage". The new one is too expensive for what you get. Chevy, I already have one, Nissan....lets just say they are the last full size addition for a reason. Toyota, yeah I wont even entertain that. GMC overpriced Chevy. I just like the Dodge style and interior, like I always say to each is own.

I noticed my post is pulled again. I'm bored with listening to dd564 say anything he wants. Lots of other boards out there that won't put up dd564. So, whatever, I'm out!

I wanted to go out and buy all the above mentioned stuff. But, after investigating, the different Mfg., crap on ebay for Hemi's and then talking with an owner for a Midas (who tried all the latest mufflers and changed back)muffler shop I've decided to wait for the definitive combo that is proven by dyno stats. or some other means than "sounds better"(the placebo power affect),etc. When I got into deep discussions with HONEST people in the know, all said the Hemi is so well engineered from intake to exhaust, any changecould and probably will subtract from the stock performance because of all the air and heat sensors in the systems.

I'm not sure why your getting so upset. All I said was that he should do himself a favor and test drive a few competitors. Nothing vulgar, attacking, or inappropriate.
