Default Water Pump Issue

hey fella's...ive replaced my water pump on my truck twice now..i have a 98 ram 1500 5.2L the first time i replaced it i wrote it off as being wear and tear being the original pump with my truck havin 120,000 miles on it..the 2nd time i replaced it a week ago i noticed erosion from just behind the impeller of the pump only..( the aluminum backing behind the impeller) about 2 months ago i replaced the radiator because the plastic part that gets crimped on the side of the metal radiator broke off so i bought a new one..well the radiator guy said there was alot of gunk in that thing...I know the coolant was brand new when i took the water pump out again..no discolorations or abnormalities to it. I went to my dodge mechanic and said it was some sort of electrolysis..the Napa guy said it could be a bad ground wire of some sort...now i didnt flush the whole system when this all happened..it did drain and i did clean the radiator again..PLEEEEEEEEEEASE someone help me out with this!!!! I dont want to keep changing a water pump on a frequent basis..forgot to mention the first time i added prestone's 50\50 and the second time i used napa's brand of 50\50...the first pump was new by discount auto and the 2nd was new and from NAPA>..im done blabbin..

Here are the pictures of the water pump....

any info you guys provide would be great!..im a firefighter in florida so i have time to trouble shoot!

what kind of water are you using? I'd flush the whole thing, put new coolant in and use distilled water.
