Default Gas Guzzler

I own a 02 Quad Cab with a 4.7 and my computer tells me i'm only getting 15.4 mpg.I know this topic has probably been beatin' to death, but i'd like to know whatyouguys havedone to get better gas mileage. I'll take anything into consideration. I'm planning to get a K&N air filter but just haven't got around to it yet. Also can anybody tell me the gains they got after installing a K&N. I searched a little and i seen a few threads with people saying that air intakes help. If anyone can give me some information on these subjects i'd much appreciate it. Thanks

A bed cover will help greatly. Your air intake will sound awesome and you will smash the gas to hear it and probably lose mileage. I think the cover will help ya.

I sure wouldn't be complaining if I was getting 15.4......I wish I was getting that.

It reprograms your computer for various things. One of the options will help increase gad mileage. http://www.hypertech.com

I sure as heck wouldn't be complaining! But, do try the K&N . I just got more muscle underneath the hood, so that's just something I deal with every day.

If they get enough demand for them they will make them. Get as many people as you can to email them with a request and see if you cant get something started.
