2008 Dodge Ram 4.6 Lonestar died while driving
I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 4.67 Flex Fuel (I hope I got the liter part right) and it's a Lonestar. The temp was -18 degrees below this AM so we let the truck heat up 25 minutes and left the house. 4 Miles from our house the truck died everything just shut off (going down hill and it was a little snowy talk about freaking scary). Anyway, we pulled halfway into a fast food place and tried to start the truck and nothing, didn't even attempt to crank. None of the lights work, the emergency hazards wouldn't even turn on. We had to leave b/c it was so cold but my fiance went back an hour later and tried again, and nothing no cranking. He tried to jump it, and nothing at all not even a grunt.
Has anyone else ever had this problem or heard of this problem?
Thanks so much!
PS The service center /road side assistance with Chrysler/Dodge was horrible. 7 hours to tow the truck >< thank god my 1 year old and I had someone to pick us up or we would have been stranded and ... froze to death.
