I just picked up my new 2005 1500 SLT 4x4 and am interested in adding cab clearance lights to the roof. Can I just order these off the Mopar website and have my dealer install them, or do I need to go directly through the dealer for my aftermarket stuff?

You should be able to do it directly form the dealer. it'll cost you about $300 for parts and labor. i want to do the same for mine accept get clear lights . yellow lens would be an eyesore on my whitey.

 

I don't think the 1500 will have the wiring in place as this was only an option on the 2500 & 3500. (If I'm thinking straight)
But you could always rig somthing up.

 

The wiring is there its just a pain to do it, (which is why installation alone is $200, at the dealership atleast) drilling the roof and not hitting anything...yikes.
