I want to order an 05' ram with the new getrag 6-speed manual.

Remember I'm not a dodge convert yet.......I'm in the process of working on that.....

I thought several members here had access, or new where to look for these answers a lot better than I would.
So.......If my questions seem lazy/stupid......I'm sorry.

I'm just trying to educate myself better on what dodge is doing latley.
The older dodge stuff is no problem, my Dad is a retired mech. of 35yrs. But he has been out of the loop since 85'.
But as for learning about the new stuff, I'm on my own, so any help is much appreciated.

 

I don't think the dealer is feeding you a line. I ordered my 2500 with a six spd stick, they called the factory and were told they couldn't actually send in the order until april, and I wouldn't see it until may. Really sucks to have to wait, but I want the six spd tire smoker!!

BTW- what's going under the hood of your 2500? Cummins'? Hemi?

 

Hemi all the way!!! the cummins is a great engine, and with some after market bully or banks parts$$$$$$$, it could be even better,
but I'm old school, and gasoline is what I know---NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPACEMENT.
