I just came from the dealer who is cutting me a deal on a SRT hood for my new Ram. Chrysler does have a part number for it in the books, and as of right now there are only 125 hoods produced in the U.S. Here is the catch. Chrysler is saying that they have a hood package in the works with all the accessories to bolt onto non-SRT trucks. It is more than 6 months away before being released. Chrysler could not tell me why the existing SRT hood may not bolt up right onto my Ram. They said that it may be fine and it may not. My question for everyone here is why wouldn't it bolt up? I don't see any body-style changes from the SRT-10 to the current 2004 Hemi's that are available. Anybody with an SRT-10 or knowledge of these hoods have any insight. I have to get this hood ordered quick if I want it or it will be gone. I need some advice. Thanks.
