hi everyone im new to the forum...

looking for some help with my trailer brakes, here's the deal...

3rd brake light does not work when brake pedal is pressed, it will work when i use the slide bar on my brake controller..

trailer brakes work with slide bar but not with pedal...

i have tried 4 different brake controllers, i have replaced the brake light switch on the pedal, trailer brakes have never worked on the truck since i bought it with 20,000 miles on it.

all fuses are good dont see anything out of order under the dash...

anyone heard of or had an similar issues and could maybe point me in the right direction? ive had several people look at it and no one can figure it out. im getting really frustrated with it, if anyone can tell me what it is help me figure it out i will mail you $50! or thru paypal, im desperate please help!! thanks

does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2005 dodge ram? does anyone know if the trailer brakes run off the 3rd brake light? maybe i have 2 unrelated issues..thanks for the help
