Default dealer invoice

Has anyone done better than the $3.250.00 rebate that Dodge is offering on the new ram at this time?
The dealer wont move, but through in a bed liner and bug sheild.

Best thing you can do is find an internet sales manager... do your deals over the net and bounce offers off other dealerships. You can go to dodge.com and find five star dealers in your area, check their inventory and shoot them an email...worked for me back in May. Had to drive 2 hrs to Myrtle Beach, but when the guy said I will give you $7K off anyone on the lot (this included the then $2500 rebate), no one around me could/would even come close.... Was worth the trip... Some internet sales mangers dont work on commision they have salry jobs at the dealership, so they dont have to make a cut.

I looked up dealers on the internet and then checked there inventory. When I found the truck I wanted I then looked up the invoice on Kelly Blue Book and called the dealership to tell them what I could do. The dealer was 3 hours away so they were willing to work with me.

I have bought my last 3 new vehicles for at least cost minus rebate. For example,
$25,000 sticker price
$23,000 invoice
$1500 rebate
vehicle price before tax, tag and title would be $21,500.

My best deal was my 03 Hemi. It had a $4500 rebate and the dealer knocked off another $2200 totalling $6700 off the sticker price. I probably could have talked them into a better deal because it was close to the end of the year but I was in a hurry to get over there and pick it up and get back home.

I tried the internet ,and could not get a stright quote from anyone they all want you to come in.
Here is the deal I am trading in my 99 ram 1500 4x4 with 130.000 miles, the dealer will give me close to Kelly book whitch is ok I got a few things wrong like the A/C and the ABS computer. other then that the truck is in geat shape I just put on new tires and shocks.
All I could get out of the dealer was the factory rebate insted of the 0%, a bug sheild and bed liner.
That's not much on a 37.000 truck. I think I am going to blow this deal off.
Any thoughts.

Go to www.stevewhitemotors.com, they are located in N.C. I was looking for an 04 2500 diesel and they smoked everybody in Illinois, Wisc, and Indiana. I ended up keeping my 02 1500 5.9 and doing mods. He was even better priced on Hemi's. Good Luck.

Well, I told the first dealer to take a hike, while I was at the gas station yesterday, I ran into a friend with a brand new hemi, he told me about his dealer and the deal he got.
I went down and made a deal on a 1500 4x4 Quad cab SLT Sport.
Black clear coat, sport group, 20x9 Alum wheels.
I had to give up a few small options because the truck is not on his lot and he has to bring it in from another dealer. I saved about 4.500.00 and got a fair trade for my 99 Ram. I should have it Saturday.
Yeah I got a Hemi in it

Congrats BigCat Glad you waited for a deal you could live with... Nothing worse than jumping into something that didn't feel right just because you wanted it, cause you will revisit that in your mind over and over. Good luck with your new truck!
