I see some many 1500 out there and some have resident plates and some have commerical. I will gettting my new truck soon and the dealer said i had to get commercial plates until i get the original registration. Then i can go to MV and fill out a form that i have a cap on the back, and they will give me regular plates....????????????yes or no

 

What state are you in? There is nothing like that here in Florida.

 

yeah, in massachusetts, you have to apply for the commercial plates, they dont just give them to you.
