Default true dual when adding headers

I have been thinking about putting edlebrock shorty headers on my '97 ram 1500. I was told that I would have to go to true dual exhaust if I did this and i would have to leave my cat on it. Are both of those true?

Default RE: true dual when adding headers

I would look for a set of tuned headers, ie.. Mopar performance, or others. They will be easier for the muffler shop to bolt up to the collectors and usually come with a crossover piece. Use the cat or high flow cat to duels. Match this with pulleys and an intake and you will make some nice HP> Eric
