Default 1 ton spring swap?

Ok, sooo whats the scoop with taking a 1500 (like mine) and adding 3/4 or 1 ton springs up front? 2" and Desiels are 3"? That all there is to it?and If I wanna keep some of the rake to teh truck, a 2" block for teh back with the 3" springs? what about shocks, upfront, jsut order 3/4 ton shocks?

3/4 & 1 ton gas engine springs will get about 2-1/2", diesel engine springs will get about 3". You will need 3/4 ton shocks all the way around. And I'd suggest an add-a-leaf kit instead of a block in the rear. It's much more stable and only slightly more expensive.

Your other option is to get a 2" coil spacer kit from the guys at www.jeeperzcreeperz.com and use your stock springs. Entirely up to you.

It may not be dead on, but it'll be close enough. Unless you're planning on doing some major off-road abuse, then you'll want to get a little more scientific with your shock lengths.
